This Nike PG 3 Sports A PlayStation Aesthetic

New colorway of the PG 3.

The Nike PG 3 has proved to many to be a top basketball shoe to release in 2019. Although, the aesthetic of PG’s signature shoes each year seem to downgrade, along with their build quality, which is unfortunate. The PG 1 came with a surprisingly nice mesh at the forefoot, and a heel suede that was bulky, but premium. The 2s are my favorite out of all of the PGs I have tested. They brought in a more lightweight sneaker, with a premium canvas mesh, and a more forgiving fit for me having a wider foot. Nonetheless, the 3s just took everything the 1s and 2s had and totally downgrade it with a mediocre mesh, and a Hyperdunk aesthetic. It doesn’t even feel or look like a Paul George signature sneaker.

Luckily, we are fortunate enough to report that a new PlayStation-esque colorway of Paul George’s third signature sneaker has released out of nowhere. Thus, for those interested in PG’s new shoe, but were looking for a better colorway, these may be the ones for you.

The Nike PG 3 ‘Black/Iridescent’ arrives dressed with a grey solid rubber sole, black midsole, iridescent Nike swoosh and lockdown wings, and a black mesh upper to finish this colorway off. You can grab this new colorway now on Shoe Palace, for $110 MSRP. No word on if these will release at Nike.com, or other stockists, but keep it locked here for updates.
