Following up with its predecessor, the Nike Kyrie 3 ‘Raygun’, the Kyrie 5 has arrived in its newest of many collaborations. Over the past two years, Nike Basketball has used countless colorways of the Nike Kyrie 3, 4, & 5 to pay homage to iconic sneakers of the past, and some of Kyrie’s memories throughout his childhood.
The Nike Kyrie 5 x Raygun had initially surfaced about two weeks ago, but the leaked image only gave us a glimpse of what the flytrap looked like. Now that we have a full-fledged look at the whole sneakers, the silhouette is definitely something to boast about.
The sneakers arrive in a UFO themed look, sporting a predominantly teal sole, with accents of green and blue hues, while the midsole is made up of a complete teal, and a subtle orange makes up the lateral Zoom caging. In addition, the upper is completed with a dark obsidian, while a basketball UFO patch is printed onto the obsidian flytrap, and white speckles over it. Finishing off the shoe is a teal Nike swoosh, with a light green stroke.
No word on a release date quite yet for this Nonetheless, an eventual release date will certainly arouse for the Nike Kyrie 5 ‘Raygun’, where it’s a Sneakeasy Bston exclusive, or a general release. Keep it locked here as official updates come underway for a potential release date, and be sure to share your thoughts down below on Kyrie Irving’s next collaborative release.
