Fresh off of the official debut of the Curry 6, Under Armour doesn’t look to slow down with the introduction of new colorways for the sixth model of the Stephen Curry signature line. The Baltimore born sneaker brand looks to go through a revival period with the UA Curry 6, as its predecessor, the Curry 5 did not meet expectations of most reviewers with blistering issues. While the UA Curry 6 ‘Fox Theatre’ releases globally tomorrow at UnderArmour.com, and select retailers, many hope to see an improvement in innovation, performance, and creativity with the sixth Stephen Curry model.
Two new colorways of the Under Armour Curry 6 have surfaced online in ‘Neon’ & ‘Black/White’. The kicks will debut featuring a multi-directional tread, with most colorways featuring a semi-translucent sole, aside from a few to say the least. Riding atop a new foam midsole, the UA Curry 6 comes equipped with a full-length HOVR midsole, a dual tone knitted upper, and dynamic lacing system. Otherwise, the shoes look to sport a synthetic heel counter at the back quarter paneling, while synthetic fused overlays highlight the mud guard, eyelets, and eye-stay area.
The two newest colorways to surface arrive dressed in two subtle colorways. The ‘Neon’ rendition sports a full neon green upper, black heel counter, black laces, black/neon accented HOVR foam, and a semi-translucent black outsole. On the other hand, the ‘Black/White’ colorway sports a white knit at the heel quarter panelling, while a black knit makes up the forefoot. Black laces, a white heel counter, and solid white outsole finish off the colorway.
No word on release dates, but be sure but look out for the Under Armour Curry 6 in ‘Neon’ and ‘Black/White’ to hit Under Armour shelves in stores and online sometime this year. You can also expect them to release at select Under Armour partnered retailers for $130. Is it to soon to release new Stephen Curry models every six months? Will HOVR perform to expectations on the hardwood? Share your thoughts and let us know what you think in the comments below. As always, keep it locked here for the latest on the Under Armour Curry 6, and many more release dates, sneaker news, and sneaker reviews.
