The mid 2010s were some great years for the Baltimore based footwear brand, Under Armour. Introducing their much valued Micro G ® foam-based cushioning, they definitely hit it out of the park during this era. Fast forward to 2018, Under Armour has dubbed their new foam set-up Charged Cushioning ®, which we personally think needs some enhancements. Additionally, a more refined foam cushion dubbed ‘UA HOVR’ has been introduced into their running line, and basketball line with the HOVR Havoc Mid & Low.
Brutally down in the stock market, Under Armour looks to have 2019 be a rejuvenating year for them, considering their stock has been minimal since June of 2016. Under Armour, sitting at an all time low stock wise, hopefully can bring us something unique and restructured for the coming year. Now introduced overseas, a detailed look at their new Anatomix Spawn model, featuring Micro G ® foam.
Under Armour’s newest performance footwear model has been introduced into their basketball line-up overseas, and may very well be an overseas exclusive. Sporting an aggressive multi-directional outsole, these should offer prominent coverage on the hardwood. Micro G ® foam appears to be the cushioning, hopefully enhanced upon. Primarily featuring an emphatic upper design with a synthetic look, the new Anatomix Spawn does not make use of any innovative tooling like Threadborne or HOVR, thus expect the retail price to be a more affordable option. Nonetheless, there is no information on if these will release stateside or not.
Stay tuned as we approach the Holiday season for potential release details, and official images surface for Under Armour’s newest Anatomix Spawn model. Would you grab these if released? Let us know in the comment section. Check out The Sneaker Bulletin for more sneaker news and information.
