After seeing many replicas and even the leaked NASA colorway of the PG 3, Nike has confirmed the release date of Paul George’s third Nike signature model. With this evolution of Paul George’s signature line, he simply wanted the shoe to be ‘faster’. The goal Paul George and Nike Basketball footwear designer, Tony Hardman was to elongate any weight that they deemed unnecessary. Here’s an Official Look at Nike PG 3 ‘NASA’.
They achieved this by eliminating any unwanted TPU, using a one booty tongue construction, and using a lighter foam in the midsole that holds the forefoot Zoom unit. The traction pattern of the shoe is circular and is meant to cover all of George’s movements in game, but only time and testing will tell if this hold true. The lockdown feature of the shoe was carried over from the PG 2 with it’s synthetic wings that go across the forefoot.
This limited edition NASA colorway launches January 26th on the SNKRS app so you better act fast on that date if you want to secure the kicks! Paul George will be debuting the PG 3 against the Spurs tonight.
