The most comfortable sneaker on the market is set to get a sequel, the PEAK Taichi 2.0. TheSneakerBrief.com team was fortunate enough to wear test and review the original Taichi 1.0 in both the knitted runner and casual AMOY renditions, and were pleasantly surprised by their performance. In addition to their premier performance and amazing comfort on foot, they are also priced at really competitive retail price tags, making the shoe quite possibly the best bang for your buck sneaker on the market right now.
The PEAK Taichi 2.0 sports a completely new silhouette in comparison to its predecessor model. The shoe appears to utilize its infamous Taichi foam midsole, but this time in a more slimmed down, streamline look, without the grooved midsole from its predecessor. Atop the midsole is a fully knitted one-piece upper with a sculpted heel counter. In the set of photos below, there appears to be renditions of the PEAK Taichi 2.0, one using a regular lacing enclosure, and the other using a BOA inspired lacing system. Completing the look are fuse overlays at the forefoot and TPU heel counters.
Let us know what you think of the PEAK Taichi 2.0 in the comments below. The shoes are already available overseas right now, so stay tuned as they become available stateside in the future. Keep it locked here for further updates.
