Nike will be releasing the successor model to one of their most successful budget models, which was highly praised for its large Zoom Air cushioning at the forefoot—the Nike Zoom Rize 2.
The Zoom Rize 2 sports an entirely new silhouette and aesthetic in comparison to its predecessor model. The Zoom Rize 2 looks feature a semi-decoupled tooling, featuring a full length phylon foam midsole with a large volume Zoom Air bag that makes up nearly the entirety of the forefoot, and also partially decoupled the midsole at the forefoot. However, the Zoom Air bags lacks indentation, or flex grooves, which may contribute to the shoe being stiff and hard to flex. In addition to the midsole, completing the tooling is an anatomically designed “foot mapped” inspired outsole, which is likely inspired by the Kobe 9. The build appears to utilize an engineered mesh upper with scattered circular fuse overlays all over the upper. A standard rope lacing enclosure with adjustable tongues and a foam backed mesh collar completes the shoe.

Stay tuned for further updates as they were scheduled to release tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1st, 2020, from Eastbay’s release calendar, but they have recently been removed from the calendar in its entirety. However, a release date is imminent as the Summer has just begun.
