After multiple detailed looks and photos of the Nike LeBron 17, we now receive confirmation that LeBron James’ seventeenth signature basketball shoe with the Swoosh will indeed feature new Knitposite technology. Flyknit fused with Foamposite, let’s dive in.
We initially reported the Nike LeBron 17 would feature Knitposite technology just last week. Now, we have a better look at the technology in place. Battleknit was previously featured on the LeBron 16 & 17, but Knitposite is an entirely new technology with this new shoe. Appearing at the rear medial ankle collar of the shoe, you can see a “KNITPOSITE” text is featured on a tag below LeBron crown logo. The knit has a gloss texture to it, , mimicking the way Foamposite looks. It’s likely this is a more Battleknit upper structure, where certain areas are welded and infuse with the Foamposite material, which is a polyurethane foam in simpler terms. Pictured in this is grade school sizing, but the actual Nike LeBron 17 is mens sizing is expected to feature Air Max 270°
in the heel.
Keep it locked here for updates on the King’s seventeenth signature shoe, and expect its official unveiling from Nike’s end to debut in the coming weeks.
