LeBron James’ sixteenth signature low-top basketball shoe has already released, but is slated to arrive in a colorway that pays homage to LeBron favorite college. Here is your First Look at the Nike LeBron 16 Low ‘Ohio State Buckeyes’.
The King did not go to college, but if he did, he would have likely attended OSU. Always having that love for Cleveland, delivering his promise for their first ever NBA championship, becoming the first team to ever come back from a 3-1 deficit; LBJ won his third ring in the most legendary fashion, ever. Although, the state of Ohio will always be in his veins because he spent his first seven years in the NBA with the Cavaliers, then signing with Miami for four seasons, then later returning to Cleveland to play for four years.
We’ve seen the Nike LeBron 15 appear dressed in all red, paying an ode to Ohio State University. But now, the Nike LeBron 16 Low ‘Ohio State Buckeyes’ sports an all grey look, featuring a a marbled sole with hues of white/grey, while gray finishes the rest of the shoes. Additional accents of red can be seen exclusively at the Zoom Max heel bag, and the logo branding on the outsole.
Expect these to hit Nike.com and select Nike Basketball stockists this May. While we wait for a confirmed release date, catch the NBA Playoffs on TV, and look out for Los Angeles Lakers free agency rumors.
