While the #LeBronWatch program was not as popular as last year’s efforts, it nonetheless has, and will continue to pay homage to some of LeBron James’ favorite sneakers growing up, and adopt inspirations and themes from previous Nike footwear models to release.
The Nike LeBron 16 ‘Hot Lava’ has officially surfaced in two separate white and black makeovers. Sporting early 90s vibes by revisiting Andre Agassi’s Air Tech Challenge II ‘Hot Lava’, these shoes are nothing short of creative.
The classic white version maintains the same aesthetic and accents that the originals did, with white as the upper, and orange, silver, and black accents finishing off the shoe. On the other hand, the black version uses that same scheme, but with a black upper, but stills sporting those same accents. Material wise, ribbed nylon, and perforated leather arrive with both versions.
The Nike LeBron 16 ‘Hot Lava’ will be releasing in Black and White versions on the SNKRS beginning May 24th. Be sure to share your thoughts on these in the comments, and keep it locked for updates on James’ sixteenth signature shoe.
