Original Posting (05/14/2020): Just a few weeks ago, we saw a first look at a never-before-seen ‘Bruce Lee’ colorway of the Kobe 5 Protro. Now, thanks to a member from TheSneakerBrief.com Discord server, nguyenhoang, we have insight and photos of the original Nike Kobe 5 ‘Bruce Lee’, which may be returning in protro form.
The Nike Kobe 5 Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ appears to utilize the original colorway and styling as the regular Kobe 5 ‘Bruce Lee’ which released over a decade ago. The photos below appear display a detailed look at the Protro version of the Kobe 5 ‘Bruce Lee’, and the size tag which unveils the the shoe’s style code, the shoe size, and the range of when the shoe was produced in the factory.
The manufacturer dates on the tag reveal the shoe was put into production on December 4th, 2019, and finished production on February 25th, 2020. While Nike has yet to unveil their plans for what they will be doing for future Kobe Bryant releases, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ may be releasing sooner or later as we have detailed photos of the Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ version of the Kobe 5.
