Original Posting (04/30/2020): Ever since the passing of the beloved Kobe Bryant, Nike has opted to hold on on releasing any Kobe Bryant related merchandise. Nevertheless, a Nike Kobe 5 Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ alternate colorway may be releasing, and it might be the first Kobe Bryant sneaker to release since his passing.
This new offering of the Kobe 5 Protro pays homage to the great mixed martial artist Bruce Lee. The shoe arrives with a White synthetic upper, paired with a contrasting Black toe and rear, White Nike swooshes outlined in Red, Yellow heel tabs and Kobe Bryant signatures, Silver Kobe Bryant Mamba logos on the tongues, and sets of White laces. A White midsole with a Black forefoot overlay rides atop a White outsole to complete the look.
Let us know what you think of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ in the comments below. Stay tuned as we learn more about the potential release of these in the future.
