The Li-Ning Yu Shuai 14 To Release In Both High and Low Renditions

The Li-Ning Yu Shuai 14 Low will release in both high and low top renditions.

Original Posting (05/28/2020): Li-Ning’s most prestigious team basketball shoe will be getting its fourteenth iteration in the future. Here’s a detailed look at the upcoming Li-Ning Yu Shuai 14.

The Yu Shuai 14 surfaces reminiscent of its predecessor model’s silhouette, the Yu Shuai 13. The Yu Shuai 14 appears looks to feature a circular nub rubber outsole, while the midsole tooling will likely utilize Li-Ning’s Lightfoam as the carrier, with heel and forefoot pods of Cloud foam within the carrier midsole. That is the same set-up the Yu Shuai 13 utilized, so it’s likely that returns to the 14 as well. Directly between the midsole and rubber outsole is a midfoot shank plate to provide torsional rigidity, which wraps up over both the medial and lateral forefoot to stabilize the foam. In addition to the tooling, the build appears to feature a ventilated knitted upper with a tighter weave at the midfoot and heel, as well as synthetic overlays throughout the entire upper. A wired lacing enclosure with ankle and tongue pull tabs completes this high top design. A low-top version of the Yu Shuai 14 will likely release as well.

Let us know what you think of the Li-Ning Yu Shuai 14 in the comments below. Stay tuned for further updates as they will be likely be arriving in the late Summer or Fall of 2020.

UPDATE (06/23/2020): A lop version of the Li-Ning Yu Shuai 14 has surfaced in an Olive Green colorway, which utilizes the same tooling and build as its high top counterpart, but with a tweaked lower ankle collar cut.
