Original Posting (05/11/2020): Over the years, Nike and Jordan Brand have released SE (special edition) versions of some of their most popular signature shoes. We’ve already seen Jordan Brand release the Air Jordan 34 SE, and they aren’t stopping, as Russell Westbrook’s third signature shoe is set to release in a special edition series—the Jordan Why Not? Zer0.3 SE.
The Why Not? Zer0.3 SE arrives with a very similar silhouette in comparison to its predecessor model. The tooling appears to remain primarily the same as the regular version of the Zer0.3s: a decoupled phylon foam midsole encasing a Zoom Air turbo bag the forefoot. The build of the shoe is where the majority of the changes have been made. The upper of the SE appears to utilize several layers of textile meshes and synthetics, along with the removal of the midfoot strap featured on the regular Zer0.3. The pull tabs at the heel and tongue remain intact, but the lacing system has clearly been modified, as there are now two sets of wired cables that are directly stitched to the upper. One set is at the first eyelet, while the other has two cables at the last eyelet.
Let us know what you think of the Jordan Why Not? Zer0.3 SE in the comments below. Expect them to release this July 2020 in select colorways. Keep it locked here for further updates.
