Original Posting (09/21/2019): Russell Westbrook’s first two signature shoes with Jordan Brand have proved to be absolute staples within the entire Nike Basketball shoe line-up. Now, we have a look at a potential budget model for the Houston Rockets superstar, Russell Westbrook.
While we don’t have much information regarding the name of this shoe, its pricing, or even the tech specs that will be included with them, we do still have a great look at the lateral side of the shoes. They look to arrive with an aggressive herringbone traction pattern for the sole, while a foam midsole is caged by various different TPU elements at the forefoot and heel of the midsole. The upper looks to be a textile, with quite a bit of overlay at the mudguard area and rear quarter paneling. Pull tabs at the tongue and heel complete the shoe.
No information on what these new kicks are to be called, but keep it locked here for updates as rumors have claimed they are slated for a May 2020 release. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
