With an unveiling date set for this weekend September 21st, Jordan Brand has been fairly secretive with the design of the Jordan 33. In a series of cryptic posts, we have learned of the unveiling date and place, as well as been introduced to images of what we now know to be the lacing system for the Jordan 33 know as “Flight Utility.” This new lacing system has yet to be featured on Jordans sneakers, but has already been featured on the Nike Golf Tour Premier.
This new system ditches the standard tie lace system for a sleeker design that features an elastic pull strap in place of laces that are designed to lock the wearer down into the sneaker without having to worry about laces un-tieing. With images already being released of what is speculated to be the sole of the Jordan 33 we now can start to from a picture of what the sneaker may look like with this new lacing system in place.
Thankfully we only have to wait a few more days for the sneakers official unveiling. Stay tuned to One on One Testers and The Sneaker Bulletin for more news and updates, and don’t forget to let us now what you think about the new Jordan 33 news in the comments below.
