Following the launch of the Marquee Boost, the Three Stripes has released its successor model, the adidas Trifecta. We initially reported the first looks of both the Trifecta and Kaizam, two performance-driven basketball shoes that offered the same tooling from the Marquee Boost, but with off-court inspired uppers. The Kaizam has yet to release stateside, but the Trifecta are openly available right now.
adidas Hoops looks to establish a fine line between performance on the court, and off-court aesthetic with the new release of the Trifecta, which is a basketball shoe.
Sporting the same tooling as the Marquee Boost, the adidas Trifecta has a platform we’re all familiar with, full-length, laterally caged Boost, and classic herringbone traction. The off-court appeal for this shoe, and primary difference between the Trifecta and its predecessor model comes from its new upper.
The shoes sport a high cut aesthetic, while utilizing a foam backed mesh as the primary underlay of the upper, while various paneling overlays of raw materials for modern off-court appeal make up the rest of the upper. The whole shoe arrives inspired by Alexander Wang’s recent Trefoil Brand collaborations, giving the shoe a deconstructed aesthetic. Finishing touches include a standard lacing enclosure, an ankle strap, and embroidered Three Stripes logo at the lateral heel which completes the shoe.
The adidas Trifecta is now available in two new color options below for $130. Click on the images to visit the official listing for them on the adidas Hoops website, and keep it locked here for more updates.
