Back in May of this year, a load of upcoming adidas models have leaked, from the adidas Dame 5, T.Mac Millenium Boost Retros, and the Harden Vol. 3. A model that hasn’t had a lot of buzz is certainly the adidas Marquee Boost that surfaced a while back. These are essentially going to be John Wall’s shoes to rock on court, but without his actual name tied to the sneakers. Hopefully, adidas will give Wall Star some sick PEs for the 2018-19 NBA Season.
adidas’ newest mid-top basketball silhouette is looking to be targeted for a late-year release, this Winer in 2018. Otherwise, you should be able to grab the low-top release sometime in February of 2019. It sounds super far away, but we’re really pretty close, considering it’s already August. The adidas Marquee Boost surfaced a little while back, and we have some speculation on the tech specs. The mid-tops look to feature a story-telling traction pattern, full-length Boost cushioning, textile upper with some added synthetics, as well as some lateral TPU stabilization with a small plate caging the boost. The low-tops look to feature all the same tooling and everything the mid has, but with a herringbone outsole.
Well, that just about takes care of it. How are y’all feeling about adidas’ newest basketball silhouette coming into the big picture? They honestly represent skate shoes to myself & the team, not too sure how these will perform on court. Looks a little heavy/bulky for a performance basketball shoe.
