At the beginning of each new year, adidas Hoops teams up with their signature athletes to release special Black History Month colorways of their respective signature shoes. Inspired by Martin Luther King Day—the adidas Harden Vol. 4 ‘BHM’ has surfaced.
This new offering of the Harden Vol. 4 arrives with an unusual mix of color combinations. Featuring a mix of Red premium suede at the rear and Olive Green pebbled leather at the toe, the most notable embellishment of the shoe has to be the Yellow star logo which is stamped onto the midfoot band. Completing this special colorway are a set of Olive rope laces, and a dark marbled outsole.
According to our friend, Black Lesnar, the adidas Harden Vol. 4 ‘BHM’ arrives inspired by Tuskegee airmen. For those wondering, the Tuskegee Airmen were a group of African-American military pilots who not only fought in World War II, but additionally formed the 332nd Fighter Group and 477th Bombardment Group of the US Army Air Forces. In addition to this impressive feat, they used to be called the “Red Tails”. We thank Mr. Lesnar for providing us with the inspiration and design into these new Harden Vol. 4s, and sincerely appreciate those that have served, currently serve, or plan to serve in the United States military. THANK YOU all for your service.
