Derrick Rose’s signature line will come to an end with the release of his 10th pro signature shoe for adidas. However, this isn’t the last of the D Rose like from adidas. As we know, adidas will start to retro the former young MVP’s signature line starting with the D Rose 1.5. Introducing the adidas D Rose 4 Retro.
We have seen the Retro 1.5 many times, so it’s a dope surprise to see pics of the retro D Rose 4. This upcoming colorway features am anime style R Rose drawing on the lateral side of the shoe. Other than that, it seems to be the same D Rose 4 some of us have played in years ago.
Introducing a next generation PureMotion sole, featuring individual, decoupled, rubber pods to allow the wearer a more flexible and natural ride under foot. In addition, adiPrene cushion was featured in this model, which is always a huge let down. We could potentially be eyeing a Bounce, or Lightstrike foam set-up, within these new Rose 4 retros.
Rumors claim that the adidas D Rose 4 Retro is slated to release this March, 2019. While an exact release date is unknown, it’s also unknown if that rumor is true, and if it is in fact true, it is still unknown of they will release stateside, or they would just be an Asia exclusive. Stay tuned as official release details come underway, and be sure to share your thoughts on them down below.
