Pharrell Williams’ adidas Crazy BYW 2.0 is now available.
This is the first adidas basketball shoe to feature the brand’s infamous Boost cushioning since the Harden Vol. 3. For undisclosed reasons, adidas has chosen to ditch Boost in their premier signature models like the Rose and Harden line-ups, and have opted for Bounce and Lightstrike to be featured. Boost, a fan favorite, is fortunately featured in the Crazy BYW 2.0.
The shoe features a herringbone outsole, paired with a proprietary EVA foam midsole carrier that encases Boost. Atop the already impressive tooling is an upper comprised of wovens and textiles varying upon colorway. Fuse also overlays the mudguard and midfoot areas for added durability and support. A one-piece, attached tongue with pull tabs completes the look.
