Initially reported as the first look at the adidas N3XT L3V3L 2, we have now received confirmation from the Three Stripes that these are in fact the adidas Barricade, the first ever laceless tennis shoe.
A durable ADIWEAR herringbone outsole is intact, while a very thin, low to the ground confirmed Bounce midsole can be seen as the shoe’s midsole cushioning in the image below at the hee. A urethane coated mesh at the forefoot can be seen, whereas the tongue area is more of a canvas-like textile.
A confirmed release date for this model has yet to surface, but considering their already on shelves overseas in China, awaiting this release date shouldn’t be too long. Keep it locked here for updates on the Three Stripe’s next laceless shoe, but this time in the tennis category. Be sure to share your thoughts on these below in the comments.
