Jordan Brand has a lot more in store for us in the remaining months of 2018, but its always exciting to look ahead for whats to come and we now have news that in Jordan Brand in 2019 will be releasing some heat. We have news of five Air Jordan slated for release during 2019. The Jordan 4 ‘Melo’, the Jordan 7 ‘Ray Allen’, the Jordan 13 ‘Cap and Gown’, the Jordan 11 Low ‘Blue Snakeskin’, and the Jordan 11 Low ‘Grey Snakeskin’ are all set to release sometime in 2019.
While official images have not yet been made available for the sneakers, some renderings as well as news of their designs have leaked to the public. Regarding the Air Jordan 4 ‘Melo’ a detailed rendering has released, based on news of a colorway that features a predominantly red upper with black accents and a white mid sole. This new colorway is said to pay homage to Melo’s new squad the Houston Rockets. This is said to be one of many releases of the Jordan 4 for next year when the sneaker celebrates its 30th anniversary.
Next we have news of the Air Jordan 7 ‘Ray Allen’. This new PE from Jordan is said to feature an all black leather upper with purple and silver accents reminiscent of the Milwaukee Bucks uniforms from Allen’s days on the team. The images we have are of PE’s worn by Allen but still no new images have been leaked of the upcoming release.
Similar to the Jordan 11 ‘Cap and Gown’ released earlier this year for graduation season, next year Jordan Brand intends to release another ‘Cap and Gown’ rendition, this time around featuring the Jordan 13. While news is still scarce on these sneakers, referencing the Jordan 11 “Cap and Gown” release, we should expect to see upgraded materials as well as a very clean all black colorway.
The Jordan 11 low releases have become a popular must have among sneaker heads, with new colorways as well as retros releasing periodically throughout the year. Next year looks to be no different with news of two colorways already scheduled for release, the Jordan 11 Low ‘Blue Snakeskin’, and the Jordan 11 Low ‘Grey Snakeskin’. Given the name, the Jordan 11 Low ‘Blue Snakeskin’, suggest that this release may be a retro of the OG model we saw release back in 2001. The second colorway the Jordan 11 Low ‘Grey Snakeskin’, is one we have not seen yet at least for public release, but we have seen images of a high top version earlier this year that belong to Drake.
While there still have been no official images or release dates for these upcoming Jordan Brand releases, the hype is already building and we look forward to more news on these and everything else Jordan Brand has to offer for 2019.
