Russell Westbrook has profoundly introduced his Jordan “Why Not?’ Zer0.2 to the NBA hardwood in quite possibly the most unique, and noteworthy ways possible. After the debuts of exclusive PEs like the Super Soakers, Bear Jordan’s, Cements, and the Game Boy colorway, the next player exclusive edition colorway is here. Introducing the Jordan “Why Not?” Zer0.2 ‘Rugrats’.
Heading into tonight’s match-up with the Sacramento Kings, Westbrook arrived carrying a special packaged Jordan “Why Not?” Zer0.2 ‘Rugrats’ PE. The actual encasement appears to be a standard Jordan box, with an orange-haired covering, which is an ode to Chuckie Finster’s red-headed hair, for the OGs up in here that messed with Rugrats, potentially my favorite Nickelodeon television series growing up in the 00s. In addition, a plastic insert states “Russell” in the signature Rugrats classic font, while a green embodies the “OWN THE CHAOS” text when opening up the lid.
This “Why Not?” Zer0.2 arrives dressed in a white sole, red torsional shank, sky blue upper, yellow lockdown wings that are embodied by red synthetics, while an orange tongue and inner bootie, purple pull tabs, and a deep green knitted ankle collar finishes the shoes off.
Expect to see the Brodie rocking these on the court tonight, but don’t expect these exclusive, Westbrook only, Player Edition colorways to release anytime soon. Potentially, we may see a #LeBronWatch inspired PE release of some of Westbrook’s on-court exclusives through out the 2018-19 NBA Season, but we’ll have to wait and see. Keep it locked here for updates of Russell Westbrook’s second signature shoe, and be sure to share your thoughts on them in the comments.
