After previously reporting the first look at LeBron James’ seventeenth signature shoe, we now have our best look yet at his Nike LeBron 17 with the Swoosh.
A newly surfaced image appears to give us a look of what is likely a replica of what the final production pairs will look like for the Nike LeBron 17.
What was initially hard to see in the first look that LeBron himself gave us via an Instagram story post, we can now see that the cushioning of the LeBron 17 appears to utilize a blend of Nike’s most iconic innovations; Zoom Air and Air Max. A 270° air max unit makes up the heel’s primary build of cushion, while a Zoom Air bag can be seen caged at the forefoot by a likely TPU or rubber for stability. Battleknit looks to make a return, perhaps behind the third rendition we’ll receive with LeBron’s line-up. While a triangular anke collar cut appears to be intact, a detached tongue also appears to be featured with this model, just like its predecessor.
While the Nike LeBron 17 has yet to appear in official photos as of yet, this is probably our best look at what is likely to be LeBron James’ seventeenth signature basketball shoe. In fact, the silhouette is essentially identical to the on-foot shots he posted of the shoes via his Instagram story. Keep it locked here for updates on the King’s next shoe with the Swoosh and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below.
