As Derrick Rose’s illustrious career has once bloomed with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and hopefully continues to reign with the Detroit Pistons, his tenth signature shoe with adidas has officially surfaced in a colorway paying tribute to his high school.
The adidas D Rose 10 ‘Simeon’ has surfaced, which takes a nod to Derrick Rose’s former high school colors, the Simeon Career Academy, located in his birthplace of Chicago. Despite Rose debuting his tenth signature shoe on the court in January during the 2018-19 NBA Season, this colorway is not only our first official look at the shoe in product images, but also could be the first official release colorway to debut this Summer.
The adidas D Rose 10 arrives equipped with a herringbone outsole in tandem with a circular pivot point for multi-directional coverage on the court. Completing the tooling is a full length Bounce foam midsole. Continuing the shoe is a build of synthetic leather which features perforated panels both medially and laterally for ventilation. Finishing the look is a standard lacing enclosure, while a beefy heel clip looks to contain the heel of the wearer.
While a full white upper makes up the build, accents of yellow and blue accents are seen for the outsole, eyelets, and adidas branding. Stamped on the insole is a number 25, paying tribute to Derrick Rose’s signature jersey number throughout his career.
adidas Hoops has yet to officially reveal the D Rose 10, alongside a confirmed release date. While we await a release date likely for this Summer, be sure to let us know your thoughts on the youngest MVP’s tenth signature shoe below. Does D Rose deserve better than synthetics and Bounce? We think so. Keep it locked here for updates on the adidas D Rose 10.
