It’s that time of year where signature shoes, leaks, and surfaced images hit the web like mad fire. It’s also about time we get an official look at Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike Zoom Freak 1.
Arriving equipped with a storytelling Greek inspired outsole, full length Phylon midsole, double stacked heel Zoom Air, mesh upper, and a cable lockdown system, the Greek Freak’s first shoe does not look to disappoint.
These are definitely not for everyone, but definitely an extra taste of freaky for those that want something that looks different from a basic basketball shoe. The colorway is inspired by Giannis’ brothers and the bond they have; Kostas, Thanasis, Alexis, and Francis.
Colorway wise, the make-up includes an icey translucent outsole with white accents, yellow to orange to blue gradient midsole, bright orange upper, navy blue tongue, while accents of light blue make up the lockdown cables. Finishing it off is Giannis’ logo stamped on the tongue, while a stamped “All Bros” text is printed onto the insole.
