Finally!! After waiting for official images after the initial, grainy pictures leaked, we got we we wanted. The first “WHY NOT?” ZER0.2 colorway is all over the place to say the least. These colors are pretty crazy, getting some OKC vibes from this one, but it also has colors like red and yellow also. The upper seems to be an engineered mesh, the midtop collar sort of reminds me of the Air Jordan XXX2. This sneaker features a decoupled outsole design and the size tag in the heel of the outsole (Why Not indeed).
Judging by the look, these are definitely bulky, but I hope that they reduced some of the weight compared to the “WHY NOT?” ZER0.1. Just eyeing the design, the heel looks to be more sculpted for a hopeful, and improved better heel to toe transition, and the materials don’t look to be nearly as beefy as its predecessor, ditching the fused overlays the originals came equipped with.
The traction pattern is simply circles for Russ’s number zero, seems promising, but can they be better as just as good as the “WHY NOT?” ZER0.1traction? Overall, simply by looking at these bad boys, I feel like they can be an improvement from it’s predecessor.
Which was first speculated to be a release right after the holidays on Wednesday, December 26th, the “WHY NOT?” ZER0.2 is slated to release in early January, retailing at $120. Will the “WHY NOT?” ZER0.2 perform better than its predecessor? Is the sequel to the Russell Westbrook signature line going to perform for the $120 price point? Share your thoughts in the comment section and stay tuned as more details come underway.
