August is always one of the hottest months of the year, if not the hottest, and Jordan Brand is definitely bringing the heat with its lineup for the month.
Jordan “Black Cat”
Starting off the month strong Jordan Brand releases the much anticipated Tinker Hatfield inspired Air Jordan “Black Cat”. Drawing inspiration from Tinker’s original design and color way that first arrived in 1997, the sneaker boasts an added mid foot strap and newly designed hologram at the top of the heel. The black and red of the upper and sole are accented perfectly with hints of teal on the sole and strap. Look to these to be one of the hotter less talked about releases of the summer with more colorways expected throughout the year. The “Black Cat is slated for a release August 2nd still no details on pricing but stay tuned for updates. Are these a must cop sneaker for the summer?
Jordan 12 “Light Aqua”
Jordan Brand follows up astrong first release of the month with a new color way of the very popular Jordan 12 realeasing in girls sizes. Dubbed the “Light Aqua” 12, the sneaker features a light aqua mudguard and sole and a clean white leather upper with black accents and logo, a really cool color combo to combat that summer heat. These sneakers release August 4th at a price of $140.
Jordan 12 “Graduation Pack”
For anyone who felt left out by Jordan’s “Light Aqua” 12 small size release, Jordan has you covered with the fresh CP3 inspired Jordan 12 “Graduation Pack”. This sneaker takes inspiration from West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, NC, the high school Chris Paul attended before taking his talents to Wake Forrest and then the NBA. Featuring a satin and suede construction, the olive upper and mudguard are highlighted by a clean white sole and black and gold accents. On the inside of the left sole “Class of 2003” is printed to commemorate CP3’s graduation. These are definitely one of the hotter pairs of the summer. Look to pick these up August 11th still no price but we could expect a possible bump up from the usual $190 for the 12’s due to premium materials.
Jordan Legacy 312
Sharing the spotlight with CP3’s Jordan 12, Don C’s newest jordan collab the Jordan Legacy 312 pays homeage to the Don’s home city of Chicago, while incorporating colors of the 80’s and 90’s bringing that real retro vibe to life in these kicks. This new silhouette from Jordan Brand is a mash up of the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3, and the Nike Alpha Force Low. Releaseing in three colorways pictured above the Jordan legacy also releases on August 11th and retail for $160.
Looking to be one of the hotter releases of the summer Jordan Brand brings the Jordan 11 IE back in a very bright way. Staying true to form the IE dons the classic elephant print of past models but from there things take a hard left turn. The three new colorways are some of the brightest to date featured on any numbered Jordan model. Pictured above from left to right of the “Ghost Green”, “Bright Crimson”, and “Rio Teal” 11IE’s the “Bright Cimson” and “Rio Teal” are slated for an August 16th release while “Ghost Green” has no date but is also expected in August. All three will retail for $175 and i dont know about you but i need all three pairs!!

After leaked images of an unreleased OVO”Drake” Jordan 4 a few months back, this much coveted color way gets a chance to see the light of day prior to Drake leaving Jordan Brand under a new name. The Jordan 4 “Raptors” takes its colorway inspiration from the retro Toronto Raptors jerseys. If youre looking to cop a pair these are set to release August 18th for $190. Sharing that date are the similarly anticipated Jordan 3 Flyknit “Black Cat”. These were set to release back in March but Jordan extended the date with many other Jordan 3’s releasing throughout the year. This is the first time we see the Flyknit on the Jordan 3’s which are celebrating their 30 year anniversary this year and looking towards the future incorperating inovative deigns into the classic silhouette. Look for these to finally release onAugust 18th and retail for $220.
After 20 years Jordan Brand is bringing back the classic, iconic, “He Got Game”, 13’s. Changing absolutely nothing from the original release made famous back in 1998 by Spike Lee’s film”He Got Game”, these Jordans feature a white leather upper, black mud guard, and white midsolewith a red bottom. The holographic circle is also still present on the outer heel collar. If your looking for something old school for the summer these definitely have that feeling. Expect these to drop August 25th 2018, and stay tuned for a retail price.

Closing the month very stong with the first of two releases Jordan pushes out the Jordan 5 “International Flight”. Inspired by an exhibition game that saw Jordan go up against the Spanish National All Star Team, the sneakers colorway of orange peel and hyper royal were influenced by the jerseys worn that day on the court by both teams. Jordan’s popularity in Europe grew due to games like this and his exposure helped make the NBA a global brand. Look for these to release on August 28th after being pushed back from an original date of August 4th and retail for $190. Finishing off the month for Jordan is a dope new colorway of the extremely popular Justin Timberlake Jordan 3 “JTH” “Bio-Beige”. This new colorway inspired by Justin’s “Man Of The Woods ” album cover combining a beige suede upper with black elephant print, and a tri color black white and grey sole. Inside of the left sneaker the sole reads, “Fame is a Lie” Expect these to sell out quick so if youre looking to snag them mark August 28th on the calendar and start saving because these are going to run you $200 a pair.
