Iconic rapper, and newly endorsed PUMA ambassador, J.Cole, has debuted a new low top PUMA basketball shoe during the 2020 NBA All Star game on the sidelines.
PUMA Basketball hasn’t slowed down with their return to the game, debuting several new performance-driven models—the Clyde Court, Uproar, Legacy, Clyde Hardwood, and the Sky Dreamer. We now have our first look at an upcoming low top PUMA basketball shoe that isn’t very reminiscent of PUMA’s previous performance basketball shoe releases.
This new offering from PUMA looks to arrive with a blend of premium 90s materials and a more modern day 2020 basketball shoe aesthetic. The upper appears to be comprised of a textile mesh, paired with panels of leather and suedes all throughout the upper. We unfortunately do not know what the tooling will feature as of right now, but it’s likely we receive PUMA’s proprietary EVA foam blend, called ProFoam. However, at the heel of the shoe, it looks like their could be some NRGY beads, which is produced by ETPU (just like BOOST), so it will be interesting to see what the tooling of these feature when they are officially unveiled.
