You all seemed to love reading up on the Harden Vol. 4 tech specs and release details. Here we are again, this time we’re going to cover the Harden B/E 3, which is part of Harden’s budget line. Right off the bat, I’ve got to say that this silhouette looks really interesting to say the least.
Starting off with the upper, the materials are unfortunately not listed on these tech specs, but it looks interesting and can honestly be a variety of things. My guess is that it could be a textile or tightly knit woven, either one make sense since this is a budget model and adidas wouldn’t go all out and put premium materials on it. Another interesting detail is that these shoes have no laces and instead relying on a strap to secure you in. Say what you want, we’ll have to wait and see if this strap is a gimmick or not.
The midsole of the shoe is Bounce, which adidas does use a lot on their budget models. Bounce is a solid cushioning setup and with rumors that adidas and BASF (the company that makes Boost) seems to be having contractual issues, Bounce and Lightstrike seem to be the future for adidas (really hoping they figure it out and Boost is here to stay).
The outsole is a simple herringbone thread pattern that adidas seems to love and if it works then I’ll love it too. adidas has been nailing these outsoles, so you can expect the Harden B/E 3 to have solid traction that bites hard.
The Harden B/E 3 is set to release 8/1 for $100, who’s looking to cop this interesting looking shoe? That’s all we have, more to come as we get more info and leaks on these and other highly anticipated kicks.
