Update (12/18): The Nike LeBron 16 ‘SuperBron’ has officially surfaced around the web, and will officially debut Christmas Day when LeBron James and the L.A. Lakers face the Golden State Warriors at 8:00 P.M. EST. This pair is rumored to be the first initial launch colorway of the #LeBronWatch line. Official release details haven’t been released quite yet, but stay locked in as they come underway.
The Nike LeBron 3 was dubbed one of the greater performers of its generation, featuring full-length Nike Zoom Air and a full-grain leather upper. As the LeBron 3 starts to retro, from its first retro release of the ‘Christ the King’ colorway, we are now receiving a new colorway of LeBron’s signature model; the Nike LeBron 16 SB ‘Super Man’, inspired by the LeBron 3 Super Man PE from 2005.
Despite the grainy images, the shoes are nonetheless taking much resemblance from the original Nike LeBron 3 colorway. Dubbed the Nike LeBron 16 SB, they offer a white Battleknit upper, royal blue patent leather overlays, bright yellow accents along the midsole, and hits of red for the outsole and partially of the midsole. The Nike LeBron 16 SB totally completes it Superman inspired design, and offers a unique theme that will potentially release later into 2018, or 2019.
A release date is unknown at the moment, but considering these pay homage to the original LeBron 3 SB PE, we could potentially see a revival of the LeBron Watch SNKRS App Series, or a general release/quickstrike colorway. Whatever does happen, you’ll see it first on here. Drop your thoughts on these in the comments below.
