First Look at the Nike Precision IV

First Look at the Nike Precision IV.

The Precision line has been one of the Swoosh’s best budget-friendly basketball footwear options in quite some time. Offering decent cushioning, good traction, and a satisfactory all-around shoe at $70 is quite a bargain for the average consumer. Following up with its previous success is the fourth iteration of the linethe Nike Precision IV.

The Precision IV looks to build off of what its predecessor model offered. The tooling appears to remain the exact same as the Precision III, with the build being where most of the changes have been made. The upper kicks it up a notch in comparison to the IIIs, which featured noticeably cheap mesh materials. While the upper materials on the IVs don’t seem like much of an upgrade, they are likely going to be much improved suitors for outdoor use and tear. The upper appears to be comprised of a micro mesh material with additional synthetic overlaying at the eyestay area, mudguard, and heel counter. The ankle collar cut is also entirely different, now being a much more lower cut, with the Nike swoosh placement being closer to the forefoot, rather than centered at the midfoot.
