Rising Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell has revealed another colorway of his signature shoe, the adidas D.O.N. Issue #1 with adidas Hoops. Mitchell, 22, is one of just few athletes to receive his first signature shoe at such a young age. The bigger accolade is receiving his first signature shoe in the midst of his second NBA season.
Not long after the leaks of his signature shoe in a Red/Blue, Spiderman-inspired colorway, and the the Neon Green/Black, Joker-inspired colorway, this new leak looks to create a more villainous feel to his signature shoe. Arriving dressed in a red Bounce midsole and outsole, and a black upper, this new style of the D.O.N. Issue #1 looks to pay homage to Spida’s love of comic books and super heroes. Hint hint, the Issue in his signature shoe pays its respects to Mitchell’s love for Spiderman comics.
No word on a release date for D Mitch’s first signature shoe with adidas quite yet. They originally surfaced around Christmas time in the midst of December 2018, so a release date may be coming up, just in time for the NBA Playoffs. Stay tuned as official release details come underway and be sure to share your thoughts on these down below.
