What a year 2018 has been. Several new brands have introduced themselves into the performance basketball world, while some even released models after a two decade hiatus. In February of 2018, the new kid on the block named Crossover Culture came storming in with their three on-court signature models, and three off-court signature models. Ahead of 2019, we get an Official First Look at the brand’s Winter 2019 Collection.
While the sneakers haven’t had some buzz in quite some time, Crossover Culture has been in the run for the best bang for your buck models for all of 2018. We had the opportunity to wear test a variety of on and off court models from the Los Angeles based footwear brand. The Fortune LP and Sniper Lo LP were by far my favorites out of their line-up. Introducing their robust LP Energy System, and a pixelated, 3D molded knit upper not only fulfilled my expectations, but also assembled a phenomenal performer for work on the hardwood.
Fast forward to the ending of 2018, and the beginning of 2019, Crossover Culture has officially launched their Winter 2019 Footwear Collection. The newest Sniper LP edition takes everything from the initial release pair, but in totally new colors. The Fortune LP has released in ‘Tiffany/Ice’ & ‘Merlot Red/Polar White’. Two breathtaking colorways have just released right on time for the Holiday Season.
In addition, exclusive grade school sizing is now available for the Sniper LP and Sniper LP Low, in new colorways. Finishing off the collection is a new low-top look to the Fortune LP. Although they are not a true low-top, the new model takes all of the key aspects of the initial release colorway, but have a re-designed neoprene sock collar, sporting a low-cut build, and is fully separated from the upper of the shoe. The new Fortune LP also comes dressed in its newest ‘Zebra’ rendition.
