Check Out These New AND1 Basketball Shoes

While AND1 hasn’t seen a lot of action on the NBA hardwood as of late, they just made a big move by signing Toronto Raptors star, Fred VanVleet. In addition to signing a reigning NBA champion, AND1 has also released new performance basketball shoes inspired by the heritage of their brand – such as – the TaiChi, TaiChi Remix, and the Attack Low. Old heads will know that AND1 was a banger, and had several staple kicks in the late 90s and 2000s. Fast forward for you young cats, here’s a look at new basketball shoes from AND1, that revive the old school premium raw materials from the 90s, with new school modern performance.

Detailed looks at a brand new AND1 basketball shoe have landed courtesy of AON Brand. We don’t have information regarding the name of the shoe, but the shoe looks to arrive with predominantly old school materials, for more mainstream performance. The upper is paired with an underlay of textiles, with additional overlaying panels of nubuck at the toe. Completing this old school look is an interesting sculpted midsole with a shank plate.

Let us know what you think of AND1s recent revival in the NBA sneaker game, and stay tuned to the site for the biggest moves the brand is making in the future.
