First reported by One on One Testers, we now have our best look yet at Kyrie Irving’s sixth signature shoe in multiple colorways; the Nike Kyrie 6.
Sporting a very distinguishable look the Kyrie 6 looks to take in certain performance features from its predecessor models. The outsole appears to use the same “hamsa” inspiration drawn from the Kyrie 5. The actual inspiration comes from the hamsa tattooed on Irving’s hand. Multi-directional grooves make up the tread, while an illuminati-esque eye makes up a pivot section of the forefoot.
From the previous ‘Triple Black’ first look, the Kyrie 6 is bringing in a full length foam midsole, with no information on whether it’s Phylon, Cushlon, or potentially React. Zoom Air Turbo makes its return from the Kyrie 5, as seen on the outsole. The signature mid-cut look has returned, while an upper made of forefoot mesh and textiles, with a rear of synthetic nubuck makes up these multiple colorways. Finishing off the shoe is a midfoot strap with the roman numeral 6 (VI), and a synthetic forefoot mudguard overlay.
What wasn’t seen in other leaks was a look at the outsole. A very fine line pattern seems to make up the tread, so we’re crossing our fingers these won’t be dust-picker-upers.
No information has aroused for a potential release date for the Nike Kyrie 6, but be sure to keep it locked to One on One Testers as you’ll see it here first. Grab a First Look at this new leak down below, and share your thoughts on them in the comment section.
