ANTA RR6 Performance Review

ANTA RR6 Performance Review.

While Rajon Rondo may have left ANTA Sports, his sixth signature shoe with the company is still available to purchase—and, it’s one of the best shoes to release from 2020. Here’s my ANTA RR6 Performance Review.

The RR6 turned out to be my top basketball shoe of 2020, alongside the GH1/GH2. The only reason they were part of the “throw-in” section of The Best Basketball Shoes of 2020, is because of the lacing system. While I had great lockdown and experienced no issues with the RR6’s lacing system, I felt like a lot of people would, thus I tried to be as objective as possible in ranking the shoes on the list. This is what downgraded the RR6 to that respective section of the list.

Nevertheless, the RR6 is a near perfect shoe for me. I still just really hate the eyelets on them. The lockdown is fine, but it’s still annoying to tighten. Everything else about the shoe from the durability, fit, support, containment, stability, and traction, all exceeded my expectations. If you’re interested in purchasing your own RR6, links are below for your convenience.
