Gordon Hayward’s first signature shoe with Chinese sportswear company, ANTA, has finally released—the ANTA GH1 ‘Barbershop’. We were fortunate enough to receive a pair of the limited release Barbershop colorway at Titletown Barbers, and we can’t thank our friends over at ANTA enough for coordinating with us to publish a performance review on Gordon Hayward’s new signature shoe.
The ANTA GH1 arrives with a webbed multi-directional outsole, full length A Flash Foam midsole, “Alpha Next” jacquard upper, and an internal bootie with a standard lace enclosure to complete the shoe.
The GH1s were definitely beastly performers for myself, and will cater for those fast-paced, shifty guards and forwards that need a shoe to make them feel fast on their feet, low to the ground, and still have ample impact protection. The ANTA GH1 ‘Barbershop’ was unfortunately a limited release, exclusive to Titletown Barbershop in just 120 pairs. Stay tuned as the shoe will make its official retail debut later this month. Let us know your thoughts on the ANTA GH1 and our review in the comments below, and keep it locked to the site as we publish more reviews and first impressions very soon.
