Another Look at the Nike Alpha Dunk

A first full look at the all new Nike Alpha Dunk.

We first reported the full look at the Nike Alpha Dunk just last week, and now we have a clearer shot of Nike Basketball’s newest performance model.

This new image reveals a more detailed look at the silhouette. Now that we have a closer look, it does appear that a dual density cushioning set-up is in place, as we can that there are two different foams (in color) for the midsole. In addition to the likely dual density foam set-up, it appears that the large volume Zoom Air bag is still intact in the forefoot. No word on what this version of Zoom Air is said to be, but just know Nike will likely give the innovation a new name, just like Zoom Air Turbo, or Zoom Strobel.

The Alpha Dunk introduces new Air Knit technology, that is likely to be a more breathable, lightweight version of Nike’s flyknit. While the Air Knit makes up the entirety of the forefoot, a cheap synthetic appears to cover the rear of the shoes, with a large Nike swoosh wrapping all the way from the midfoot and around the heel.

Additional information per a confirmed release date has yet to surface, thus keep it locked here for updates on these, and be sure to share your thoughts on these in the comments below.
