Every year we look to the playoffs to see what new soldier model LeBron will be rocking, of course this year, there was an exception as the King unfortunately missed the playoffs, being an unusual territory for one of the most dominant basketball players, ever. This doesn’t mean that there isn’t going to be a new soldier model, in fact, we have our first full look at the Nike LeBron Soldier 13.
Tech specs include a herringbone sole tread, a likely Phylon midsole, with heel and forefoot Zoom Air bags. Making up the rest of the shoe is a ripstop-esque upper, adjustable slip-lock straps, and a flexible tongue (similar to the LeBron 16) to allow for easier entry into the shoes.
The Nike LeBron Soldier 13 is slated to release at the beginning of August, which will likely retail for the same MSRP of $140, that its predecessor model had. Grab a First Look at James’ thirteenth signature take-down shoe below, and stay tuned as official images come underway and share your thoughts in the comments. To me, it seems like Nike keeps recycling the same silhouette each year with the Soldier line, but if they perform well, then hey. But it might be time for a change of scenery with this line.
